Career Guidance Seminar a super success !
On 26th March, 2011, 4.30 pm, at Srividya Krishnananda Sabha, the Samaj had organized
the Annual Career Guidance Seminar for anxious parents and students of Std.10th, 11th
and 12th, as part of the Samaj's ongoing efforts in the field of Education.
This very informative Seminar was conducted by Prof. RSS Mani, who is an active Samaj
volunteer and an eminent Management Educator and Career Planning Specialist. The response
to the Seminar was overwhelming, as we had around 80 people including students and parents.
Prof. RSS Mani outlined various career options available for students today, focusing on both
traditional and upcoming careers. Subsequently, he patiently answered several questions by
the audience for about an hour. He also strongly recommended that all students present should
focus on developing their overall personality and computer skills, besides ensuring academic
consistency. He also appealed to all of them that they should spend some of their time in
volunteering towards helping out the underprivileged and contribute towards improving the
society that they are living in.
All present were very appreciative of the wonderful efforts put in by the Samaj in organizing this
seminar. President of the Samaj proposed a vote of thanks and applauded Prof. RSS Mani for
rendering yeomen services in such a significant and critical aspect of Education, which immensely
benefitted many students and provided substantial relief to many anxious parents. He said that
this Career Guidance Seminar would be a permanent feature of the Samaj’s activities, as long as
we had the support and backing of dynamic people like Prof. Mani
